Future DIY Projects

October 4, 2016

After lots and lots of research I have come across some new DIY projects that I am thinking about doing. I am trying to look up DIY things that everyone can use in their life. I’ve came across some things I want to do that have to do with cleaning. The one I want to do the most is a DIY laundry detergent. I have looked at many recipes for it and I found one I like. The recipe I found you can make a year of laundry detergent for about $30. How awesome is that?!

It can vary on how many people use it but that’s still gonna save a lot of money. Lets do the math. Say you buy the gain pods, a 31 count bag at Walmart. That is $8.97 before tax per bag. You would only be able to buy 3 of those bags per year to only spend $30 on laundry detergent. I am no sure many people could last on only 3 bags of the Gain pods per year. So I think doing the DIY laundry soap is totally worth it. Don’t you?

If you are interested in me doing this DIY laundry detergent and blogging it leave me a comment below and give this post a like! If I do it I will definitely make a post about it telling you what I used, how it works, etc.

In the past, my husband and I used to make our dishwashing detergent, but laundry detergent sounds interesting too.

Sounds like a good idea – it would be good to have some control over the horrible chemicals that cause skin irritation. I used to make my own shampoo using an egg based mixture – it was perfect but very messy! I would give the detergent a go.
