Never good enough

April 21, 2016

Well y’all I have had my first bad experience with a company since I became a product tester. It sucks when companies are rude and have bad customer service. I am not going to say the name of the company in this post but I will tell you what happened.

A company sent me a product to review and I tested it out the best I could with the limited amount of time they gave me. I posted it to all social media that we agreed to. I even went out of my way to add it to extra social media just to be nice. After I did everything asked of me this company then contacted me pretty much telling me my posts weren’t good enough.

No problem. They told me somethings they wanted to see in the posts. I edited my posts to social media and them messaged them back and told them I fixed what they asked me to. Again they replied telling me my posts weren’t good enough and then called me a newbie, that what they wanted should be common sense. By this time I was beyond upset with this company. I edited my posts one last time trying to get it to their liking. I informed them I fixed everything. What do you think they responded? If you guessed nothing you are correct. They have yet to reply. Honestly at this point if they still are not happy with what I posted that is just to bad then.

thumbs-up-thumbs-down

I went out of my way to be nice and did more then they asked and it doesn’t seem like anything will make them happy unless I write exactly what they want. I am sorry but I am not going to lie to my family, friends, and everyone else who reads my posts about the product. When I say my reviews are 100% my own thoughts and opinions I mean that. They are not paying me so they can’t tell me exactly what I have to write in my reviews and posts. End rant.

****Update: The company replied finally and they asked me to take down my amazon review of their product.I gave the product 3 of 5 stars. They told me that Amazon views that as a bad review and that damages their sales so I need to remove my review immediately. Did I take it down? No. They wanted my honest review and that is what they got. They can’t only leave up good reviews. They are not being honest with their customers and I feel bad for anyone who buys products from them.****

I think it’s crazy that ANY company would coerce someone “testing” their product… how can consumers get honest reviews with these types of expectations 🙁

I think your response was appropriate- I am stunned on their behavior though… too bad you can’t mention who they are so that we can all avoid them lol.

I personally don’t believe they want honest reviews. They just want to sell their products even if it means lying to people about it. I don’t want to mention the company name since it just happened just I wish I could tell everyone. I will never work with this company again. I wasn’t the first person they did this too either. They don’t have the best reviews for dealing with people. The best suggestion I can tell you when deciding to buy a product or get into a relationship with a company is always always always read the reviews on the seller.
